Kentucky’s 2013 wine map and guide is available. The map gives the location of the wineries across the state. Addresses, phone numbers, websites, and available facilities are given for 66 wineries and vineyards. There are 51 places that visitors can taste wines around the state (Talon Vineyard and Winery and Chrisman Mill Vineyard and Winery offers tastings at two locations).
Kentucky has vineyards in dry counties and those wineries that don’t offer tastings at their vineyards, such as Rose Hill Farm Winery, can be found at festivals during the year pouring tastes of their wines.
Getting a copy of the new map, along with the warm weather, has made me excited about visiting wineries.

Where can you get this map?
They are available through the Department of Agriculture, Wine and Grape Council. I imagine they will be coming to the wineries soon. I will have some with me at the Wine and Vine Fest in Nicholasville.
