We were able to return to one of our favorite places to visit at the end of July and visit the Charlottesville area of Virginia for the first time since 2019. We spent four nights in a cabin at Afton Mountain Vineyards. While there we visited wineries: DelFosse Vineyards, Gabriele Rausse Winery, Flying Fox Winery, Ox-Eye Vineyards , Barren Ridge Vineyards, Chestnut Oak Vineyard, Afton Mountain Vineyards, Well Hung Vineyards and Barboursville Vineyards. Virginia has many cideries now and we visited two excellent ones: Bold Rock Hard Cider and Ciders from Mars. Check out Favorite photos for a selection of some great views from these Virginia sites.
