More than 100 Kentucky authors will be available to greet book lovers and sign their books. As both a book lover and an author, this is a real thrill for me! I am looking forward to sharing my book Vineyard to Table Cooking with Kentucky Wine with the visitors to this special day.
Hope you are able to attend. I would love to see you there and as a previous attendee of the event, I can guarantee you will enjoy yourself immensely.

McConnell Springs is hosting a fundraising event that will appeal to Kentucky wine lovers. From 11 to 5, visit any of the wineries on this map and get a chance to try some wines. Travel in your own vehicle from winery to winery, visit all eight or choose the ones you want to try. We’ve done this many years and the day is very enjoyable.
If you’ve never been to a barrel tasting, now is your chance. Visitors can talk to the winemakers, taste the wines while they are aging, and compare them to the finished wines. This is an excellent event for wine lovers!

Chrisman Mill Vineyards and Winery is the oldest operating winery in the state of Kentucky. Chris and Denise Nelson have created a winery that has grown and stood the test of time, remaining one of the best and most popular wineries in the state. They have expanded and are now a winery, a distillery, and a restaurant. You will want to plan a visit.
The winery is open now on Saturdays. Try their wine, their spirits, and their food. Pizza and tacos are available almost every Saturday. There are three Saturdays when they will be serving a full Fuego dinner. Check my link to their winery for information.
The pizza and tacos are amazing. Their wines are the great wines that everyone has come to expect. Hummingbird Distillery is now making rum, made from blackstrap molasses, a grape brandy, and a grappa. You won’t want to miss trying these or one of their cocktails. If you are able to get to one of the dinners at Fuego, you will want to go back again and again.
Brianza Gardens and Winery is a beautiful, relaxing place to spend an afternoon and evening. There is great wine, friendly service, and snacks. On weekends you can enjoy music and food trucks. Check their website for events.
